At BerberSilver LLC, we strive to deliver unforgettable travel experiences in Morocco, from Sahara expeditions to artisan workshops. We understand plans can change, so we’ve created this Refund Policy to outline the terms for cancellations, refunds, and changes to your bookings. 1. Booking Confirmation
All bookings for tours, workshops, or expeditions are confirmed upon receipt of full payment or a deposit, as specified on our website (berbersilver.com). You’ll recieve a confirmation email with details (oops, meant receive—we’re excited to get you to Morocco!). Please review your booking details carefully, as they form the basis of our agreement.
2. Cancellation by You
We understand life happens, and you may need to cancel your trip. Our cancellation policy depends on the timing of your request:
More than 30 Days Before Tour Start Date: If you cancel 30+ days before your tour or workshop begins, you’re eligible for a full refund, minus a 10% processing fee to cover administrative costs.
15–30 Days Before Tour Start Date: Cancellations within this period are eligible for a 50% refund of the total booking cost.
Less than 15 Days Before Tour Start Date: No refunds are available for cancellations made within 15 days of the tour start date, as we’ve already committed resources to your trip.
No-Shows: If you don’t show up for your tour or workshop without prior notice, no refunds will be issued.
To cancel, please contact us in writing at [email protected]. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days to the original payment method.
3. Cancellation by BerberSilver
In rare cases, we may need to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, such as extreme weather (e.g., Sahara sandstorms), safety concerns, or insufficient bookings. If this happens:
We’ll notify you as soon as possible via email or phone.
You’ll receive a full refund of all payments made, no fees deducted.
Alternatively, we may offer you a rescheduled tour or a credit toward a future trip, if you prefer.
We’re not responsible for additional costs you incur, like flights or accommodations, so we strongly recommend travel insurance.
4. Changes to Bookings
Your Changes: If you want to modify your booking (e.g., change dates or tour type), contact us at least 30 days before the tour start date. Changes are subject to availability and may incur a $50 change fee per person. Within 30 days, changes may not be possible, but we’ll do our best to work with you!
Our Changes: We may need to adjust itineraries due to local conditions (e.g., road closures or festival schedules). We’ll aim to provide equivalent experiences and notify you promptly. If significant changes occur, you may choose a refund or alternative tour, subject to Section 3.
5. Non-Refundable Items
Some services, like special permits for Sahara expeditions or custom artisan workshops, are non-refundable once booked. These will be clearly marked during the booking process. Deposits for certain tours may also be non-refundable, as noted in your booking confirmation.
6. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unexpected events, such as medical emergencies, trip cancellations, or lost luggage. BerberSilver is not liable for losses not covered by this Refund Policy, so insurance is your best bet for peace of mind.
7. Disputes
If you’re unhappy with a refund decision, please contact us to discuss. We’ll work to resolve things fairly. Any disputes are subject to the laws of Minnesota, USA, as outlined in our Terms of Service, and will be handled in Hennepin County courts.
