Arrivals in airport Marrakech to RAK or Casablanca CMN ( additional transfer costs apply from Casablanca).
You will be met at the airport and transferred to your riad where you can relax following your journey
In the evening we will enjoy a welcome meal at your luxurious Riad in the heart of the Medina of Marrakech
To establish an understanding of the splendour and the rich array of Jewels within Morocco, we will take a visit to the Berber Museum in the stunning Majorelle gardens. One time home of Yves st Laurent, this garden is a true oasis in the bustle of the red city. It contains a treasure house of jewels to begin our quest !
We will lunch in the Medina
Followed by a visit to Morocco’s most celebrated jewel designer Faouzi
Our evening meal will be in Gueliz
Following a delicious breakfast, we will visit some of the treasure houses of Marrakech. Seeing and gathering jewels as we explore.
We shall eat lunch in the Medina
and then take to the road in the afternoon reaching our coastal residence by late afternoon.
Our accommodation in the heart of Essaouria has dramatic views of the sea and the ancient ramparts.
We will eat in the hotel restaurant.
We shall spend the day exploring the jewel shops of Essaouria,
Taking lunch at the fresh fish stalls on the sea front where the days catch is cooked straight from the sea!
and will meet jewel gallery owner Jo Samar.
We shall explore the shops of the ancient ramparts and take a stroll along the stunning beach with the isle of Mogador (Steeped in History) in the distance.
We will eat in the evening at Taros, an exceptional restaurant in the square by the sea.
Following breakfast overlooking the sea we shall head inland once more, to the beautiful town of Tarroudant.
This small walled town has a selection of exceptional jewellery outlets. We shall be greeted at them all by the gentle and wonderful traders of the south.
We will lunch in the town, and continue our shopping until late afternoon.
We will then check into our luxurious accommodations in a veritable garden of Eden.
We will eat poolside, and enjoy the wonderful and abundant cuisine at this exceptional Riad.
Once we have enjoyed a leisurely breakfast and maybe a swim or a deluxe spa treatment we will head to a tiny village just outside Tarroudant. We will see bead making techniques which have been used here for hundreds of years, and have access to purchase these beautiful beads and pendants along with many other wonderful beads at wholesale prices! There is often also a selection of Vintage and antique pieces on offer here.
We will return to our luxurious riad, and then head out in the evening to the home of Habibi to experience the tastes and delights of a Moroccan celebration feast.
This is a 5 course plus feast, with flavours and treats one after another!
We will spend the night in Tarroudant
Heading back today to the vibrancy of Marrakech, we will take to the road following breakfast.
Once we are checked in to our new home in the very best district of the city, we shall have lunch in a wonderful medina eatery, followed to a visit to a brand new collection of jewels and textiles.
Following some late afternoon jewel shopping, we shall eat our evening meal at the street food stalls in the carnival that is Djeema l Fna
Todays shopping will have a distictly Tuareg flavour!
We will visit the finest dealers for items from the far south and the Sahara.
Once we have spent as long as we all need enjoying the Saharan treasures, we will break for lunch.
Following a rest for lunch we will head back tot he souks to continue our quest for jewels, beads and knowledge!
Our evening meal will be at an intentional Restaurant in Marrakech
A visit to a royal gallery, and a wonderful apothecary and a revisit to anywhere you would like to pop back for that elusive something!
Lunch in the Henna cafe , followed by a trip to the bead dealers of the mellah. Where design elements are sold by weight. Faux Amber by the Kilo!
We return to our Riad for a celebration feast, and to share tales of the pieces we chose, and of course of the ones that got away!

The price includes: Airport transfers ( From RAK transfers can be arranged at cost from Casablanca)
Accommodation, breakfasts, evening meals in our hotels and riads and the evening meal with Habibi as described, entry to monuments, transport.
The price does not include : flights, tips, lunches, henna, evening meals other than those in riads and hotels listed.
